We had the honor of welcoming the esteemed historian Dr. Saidani lakhadar to the Centre for Excellence in Writing 
Author of several works on the history of our region, he shared powerful insights on historical narratives, including the Battle of Bab El Bekouche, and broader perspectives on regional heritage.
Participants also had the unique opportunity to engage with authentic archival documents, offering a rare glimpse into historical sources and research practices.
A key moment of the session was the proposal of a collaborative CEW project:
Learners from different languages will work together to translate untouched archival materials, contributing to a collective publication coordinated by Dr Saidani under the CEW.
A meaningful exchange of knowledge, history, and academic inspiration.
